Great Canadian Swap Exchange
The Great Canadian Swap Exchange crest
We are a great group of ladies from Canada who are making and exchanging swaps/camphat crafts with other Canadian Guiders.  Terri Hiscox started the group in 1999 and we have had a great time.

We have our own e-list, the "Canadian Swap Exchange" list .
NB If you know anyone that is interested in joining us and they don't have email, they can still join as long as you or someone else that does have email agrees to be the "middlelady" and all communications will go through her.
1. To join the e-list, send an email to:

Canadian Swap Exchange

When joining the e-list, you are NOT committing to any monthly swaps.
That is something you can decide to do later, if you wish. You don't need to take part
every month, you can limit it to when the mood and the time are right for you.

 2. How the Monthly Swaps work:
When a new monthly swap is going to start, you will receive an email
telling you the name of the hostess, and the date to sign up by.
This is your chance to say "me too".

Once the hostess has the number of ladies interested in taking part,
(and it has reached over 30 participants per month) she
will send an email through the e-list and let the participants know how
many crafts to make, where to send them and by what date.
You make the requested number of the same camp hat craft and mail
them to the hostess along with a self-addressed stamped envelope.

Be sure to include your name, email address, city and province on each craft.

Once the hostess has received everyone's swaps, she will organize them
so that each Guider gets one of everyone else's craft and she'll mail
them to you in your return envelope.

The only restrictions that we have is that you keep the crafts to
small camp hat sizes and you include your info on each craft. Other than
that, the sky's the limit. There is no each month or anything like that
so use your imaginations.
